Shepherds Tree Game Lodge is situated in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve which, by car, is two hours from Johannesburg and 15 min from Sun City. This Reserve features 57, 250 hectares which contains all of the Big 5 and it is situated in a malaria free zone.
The central guest facilities at this 5 star lodge includes rim flow swimming pool, gourmet restaurant, open entertainment decks, cigar lounge, Amani Spa and conference facility.

The main lodge area features a gourmet restaurant, a casual lounge and bar to relax in and discuss the days sightings, a spacious entertainment deck with outdoor cocktail bar that overlooks a spectacular rim-flow swimming pool.
A conference centre is fully equipped to ensure that conferences, functions and events are handled seamlessly and provide for a maximum of 70 delegates.
The lodge accommodates its guests in 26 Standard rooms, ideal for couples and single guests, 13 family suites which can double as one bedroom standard suites, and 4 spacious executive suites. The family suites offer two en-suite master bedrooms with a shared lounge and patio. The executive suites offer one en-suite master bedroom with a lounge and patio.
For those wanting a more private experience, there is also a 2 bedroom villa available. The Private Villa comes with it's own Game drive vehicle.

The Standard Suite sleeps two adults features an en-suite bathroom as well as an outside shower, and a private patio overlooking the extensive game reserve. These rooms can also be combined into a Family Room which includes an additional two sleeper-couches. Satellite TV is available for a Family Room option only.
The lodge consists of 13 family suites (made up of 2 standard rooms) of which can either accommodate families of up to 6 person (4 adults & 2 children on a couch) and couples / singles
The lodge consists of 4 executive suites (1 main bedrooms and lounge area which can either accommodate families of up to 3 persons (2 adults & 1 child on a couch). The Executive Suites provide guests with an en-suite, indoor steam shower, as well as a double outdoor shower, and private patio. The private lounge is equipped with satellite TV
The Private Villa comprises 2 x Rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower, and offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
