Tshukudu Bush Lodge is situated high on a rocky outcrop. Tshukudu is renowned for it’s intimate setting, tranquil and superb personalized service.
With the cottages situated that high up and the only way up being a climb of 132 or so steps, it makes the area largely inaccessible for the physically challenged.
Just a 2.5 hour drive from Johannesburg, this lodge is close enough to make it a quick and easily accessible one or two night getaway.
Tshukudu Bush Lodge is located in the malaria free Pilanesberg National Park, in North West Province. It is built high on the side of a hilltop and offers sweeping views of the plains and the waterhole below.
You check in at Bakubung Bush Lodge and are then transferred to Tshukudu, a 15 minute (game)drive away.
Each custom designed chalet offers a romantic sunken bath, an open plan lounge and bedroom, a fireplace and private balcony.
Each spacious custom designed suite has all of Tshukudu’s finest touches as standard, including the crystal chandeliers and rock craft fireplace. Luxurious baths overlooking the plains remain an integral feature of the bathroom and romantic experience.
The Tshukudu Suites also include a private plunge pool on their secluded decks, and outdoor shower and twin vanities

No children under the age of 12 years are allowed at the Lodge.
Children aged between 12 and 17 years sharing with 1 or 2 adults will be charged the third person supplement rate on a Fully Inclusive basis.
From Joburg it is a 2 hour drive to the Pilanesberg reserve where you need to go to Bakubung Bush Lodge. You will be met at Bakubung lodge (You leave your car there) and will be transferred to Tshukudu, a 15 minute (game)drive away.
