About Nambiti Plains Lodge
The main lodge is built in amongst the indigenous forest and is perched overlooking a private waterhole. The deck of the lodge is perfect for relaxing with a cocktail and watch as the animals quietly drink from the waterhole.
Guests can expect to enjoy the sites of eland, wildebeest, nyala, kudu, waterbuck and impala as well as warthogs enjoy a drink from the waterhole. A perfect place to soak up the African sun and enjoy the best nature has to offer in between meals and game drives.
For those hot summer days there is a swimming pool area with a wraparound deck as well as lounge area from where the spectacular views can be enjoyed.
As it is often visited by the elephant herd, you may have to give it up for a while, as the local herd of elephants come for their “regular” drink from the pool.
For the colder winter evenings, the lounge features a stone fireplace and a reading area with a variety of books as well as board games and a set of binoculars. There is Wi-Fi Internet access in the public areas and mobile reception is available throughout the Lodge area.
For the lazy afternoons between game drives you are welcome to enjoy the African-inspired bar area where the waiters are available for a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Tea, coffee (excluding speciality coffee), juice and water is included during the day and during dinner a glass of house wine will be served and is included in your rates.
The suites all come with a mini bar ( which is for your account ), please let your reservations consultant know in advance if there is anything specific you require.
Whilst wine lovers are catered for with a variety of vintage bouquets from expertly selected wine estates across South Africa, there is also a cocktail and milkshake menu as well as a variety of soft drinks for the guests preferring something different.
