As the name suggests, Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge is situated on a hill, in the heart of the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve.

The lodge looks over an expansive veld, complete with active waterholes. There are 10 luxurious suites as well as a private camp, called little Madikwe Hills which lies nearby and is perfect for extended family getaways.
The 10 suites at Madikwe Hills are very spacious at around 150 sqm! with floor to ceiling glass fronts to the suites which lead onto your private wooden deck complete with private plunge pool.The honeymoon suite has a very private outside corner set amidst the boulders and trees where you can soak in a standalone outside bath whilst enjoying views of the reserve!
At the Main lodge you can enjoy drinks at the bar or on the deck overlooking the waterhole. The main swimming pool is also available to relax around.
The ultimate in luxury and privacy, Little Madikwe Hills boasts a 2-bedroom Private Villa with its own landrover and game ranger, as well as a personal butler to take care of your every need! A diverse wine selection, gourmet kitchen and entertainment centre complete the picture. Two additional standard suites can also be reserved to form a completely private camp, which accommodates up to 8 guests.
Mouth-watering cuisine is created by your personal chef in the gourmet kitchen of your suite. You can even pick up a few culinary tips whilst you watch your meal being prepared! A luxury is being able to set your own meal and game-drive times, making this the ideal exclusive family escape.

During this Junior Ranger training we discuss interesting bush aspects. The “Rangers” will be given “funwork” not “homework”.
This is a booklet for them to complete before or during the afternoon drive. At Madikwe Hills Junior Rangers will enjoy a hands-on experience by touching elephant dung, looking at tracks, finding out HOW to track.

Private 2 bedroomed villa and two optional additional suites which form a completely private camp. Little Madikwe can therefore accommodate a maximum of 8-9 guests (rates for the additional suites are the same as the Madikwe Hills Main Camp rates). The Villa is ideal for families with children under the age of 10 years, as the Main Camp is not geared for younger children..

One child (10 - 16 years): On the special advance rate, sharing with 2 adults: pays less 50% of the adult sharing rate.
On the last minute rate: Children 10 years and older pay the normal adult sharing rate.
The gravel road on this route makes it a little bumpy but not impassable in a sedan vehicle and it is shorter than the route through Zeerust. It is advisable to fill up with fuel at the Sun Village, just after the Sun City entrance on the right, since there is no fuel available inside the reserve.
