About Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge
The lodge is born of a need to celebrate the local Tsonga culture. The traditional rondawel rooms and lodge building, with it's tribal design and earthy tones, sets the tone for the welcoming and warm feelings you will enjoy during your stay here.
Guests are accommodated in six circular air-conditioned Tsonga rondawels (homesteads with traditional earth-coloured walls and tapered thatched reed roofs). When you're not on game drives or at the main lodge, you will have the chance to Relax on your private deck, looking out on to the bush.... and when that becomes too much hard work there is a comfortable king-size bed in your air-conditioned room where you can take an afternoon nap.

There is no Wi-Fi or cellphone signal at this exclusive and remote safari lodge, allowing complete relaxation for our guests. The suites offer a radio link to the manager at the lodge. The sparkling swimming pool promises a refreshing dip while providing the opportunity to enjoy the rich and varied wildlife that comes to the river for a cooling drink.
Keen birders will delight in the hundreds of bird species that call Kruger home. Over 500 species, in fact many of which occur in the Mluwati Concession including the Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill, Crested Barbet and Burchell’s Glossy Starling. Guests will enjoy some of Kruger’s most spectacular landscapes and an extraordinary variety of wildlife, birdlife and plantlife within the Mluwati Concession, ensuring that each safari experience will be unique.
